Welcome to Instagram, Apple! They started their new Instagram account two hours ago. Really loved their approach to launch it well. It’s thoughtfully curated to feature the most interesting accounts (not most popular) who created their content using iPhones.
See how nicely curated their account! Each post has a cover video which has an introduction of the photographers, and I’m glad they decided to feature photographers / accounts that aren’t huge on social followers — opting to focus on their talents instead. I like how their Instagram account is going to be a blank canvas to help surface and feature upcoming photographers. On a side note, it’s interesting that they have 7 Instagram accounts in total now. Some of these accounts have corresponding Twitter and Facebook Accounts as well. If you know other platforms where they have social media presence, do drop a comment below!
